About A.C.E.
I have telling and writing stories since childhood. I took a short break to write dreadful poetry, and then a longer one while I worked as an attorney, writing legal briefs and telling stories about my clients. I have returned to fiction, and now write children’s books and short stories for all ages. My first middle grade novel, No Castles Here (Random House, 2007), was chosen for the 2009 American Library Association Rainbow List and was named “one of the strongest titles of the year” in a starred Kirkus review. My second novel, Come Fall, will be released by Random House Children’s Books in 2010.
Born and raised in Montreal, I spend most of the year in New England and much of the summer on a lake in Quebec. I live with my husband, two children, and our dog Speedy.
